You drive here for quiet—the cape has no resort strip, no shopping on its streets, only mini-marts near the aquarium and a few beachfront restaurants at Ao Yon and Khao Khad. Panwa Beach lies ten minutes' walk away, shallow and calm with food stalls in the early evening. For groceries and evenings out, you drive into Phuket Town, twenty minutes, or up to the Sri Panwa hilltop cluster where Baba Nest and Khao Khad Views Tower catch the sunset. The Cove and Flamingo Beach Front Cafe sit on Ao Yon, and Coral Island is a boat ride away for the snorkelling the cape's own shore does not offer.
