Friday nights you drive to the Fun Friday Avenue Market at Boat Avenue for street food and local produce, or book a table at Suay Cherngtalay or Tu Kab Khao at Porto de Phuket. The beach clubs sit on Bang Tao sand ten to fifteen minutes south—Catch or Xana for the evening—and Blue Tree in Cherng Talay is the weekend stop: shops, cafés, padel courts, forest jogging trails, a kids' adventure park. Everything runs on this same short loop, and you drive it because the architecture of Bang Tao is built around the car.
